The Jabuka Regatta is one of the Adriatic’s most traditional offshore regattas – organised by Yacht Club Tijat in Vodice. What makes it special: the downwind start in the middle of the night into the open sea, on course for the remote volcanic island of Jabuka.

The boat

We sail our performance yachts “Aqua Nomis” (XP44) and “Trinity+” (Solaris44) – both fast offshore racers, perfectly set up for regattas like the Jabuka. High-quality equipment, reliable technology, and enough comfort for the crew.

Schedule

Wed, 11/11 | Optional delivery trip
Delivery trip from Punat to Vodice (optional). Arrival and getting set up on board.

Thu, 12/11 | Training day & dinner
Morning: training session in racing setup from Vodice. Evening: regatta dinner on a historic excursion steamer in Vodice.

Fri, 13/11 | Training & night start
Morning: second training session. Afternoon: rest & preparation. Race ready from 19:00 – start signal around 21:00, downwind into the open sea.

Sat, 14/11 | Finish & party
Arrival in Vodice in the afternoon. Regatta party in the evening.

Sun, 15/11 | Prizegiving & brunch
Closing event, prizegiving and brunch at Hotel Olympia.

Accommodation

Overnight stays on land are not included in the ticket price. We recommend hotels in Vodice – alternatives on request. On regatta night, you’ll sleep on board Aqua Nomis.

FAQ

You should have basic sailing experience and be comfortable in all weather conditions. Offshore experience is an advantage, but not a must – our experienced crew and skipper will guide you through the regatta.

Included in the ticket price: charter (pro rata), Jabuka Regatta entry fee, training sessions, regatta dinner right in the town harbour on the excursion steamer “Jabuka”, and the closing event incl. prizegiving & brunch. Not included: travel to/from, accommodation on land, personal catering.

No, the delivery trip from Punat to Vodice on Wednesday is optional. You can also join directly on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning in Vodice.

Offshore regattas take place within a wide weather window. In extreme conditions, the regatta committee decides on postponement or cancellation. Our crew is experienced in dealing with Adriatic weather.
