Sanni’s path to an Olympic medal and the world elite was marked by moments when she left her comfort zone & believed in herself in a male-dominated sport. As a coach, she shares with you not only her experience in technique and tactics, but also helps you strengthen your confidence in your own abilities.
Together with another professional regatta trainer, Sanni works directly with you on board — on technique, tactics, and teamwork. Personally, goal-oriented, and with passion.

OUR Boats

Sailing takes place in a one-design class on current Dehler 38 SQ Racing Yachts — fair, sporty, and challenging.

All boats are equipped with racing laminate sails and race gennakers. Perfect conditions for intensive training and exciting races.

Your Event

10.10. | Arrival & Kick-off

Check-in, boat handover, official welcome and safety briefing. Shakedown sail and first training sessions. In the evening, a get-together among women.

11.10. – October 13 | Training Days

Shared breakfast
Training times: 09:30 – 17:30
Crew roles & communication, sail setting & manoeuvre training, gennaker handling, regatta start, tactical variations & fine trim with daily debriefing.
2 Workshops

14.10. – October 16 | Regatta

Shared breakfast
Race: 10:00 – 16:00
Up-and-down courses, multiple races per day (weather-dependent) as well as a navigation regatta (4-6 h) with a focus on navigation, time management, and route planning.

October 16 | Closing & Award Ceremony

Joint dinner and closing party with award ceremony for the navigation regatta, daily and overall standings, and the “Best Crew Spirit” award.

Frequently Asked Questions

For women passionate about sailing — as crew or individual participants, beginners and advanced alike. Minimum crew: 6 women per boat, ideally 7-8 people.

You will have an experienced regatta skipper as a trainer on board and can participate in the Race Camp even as a complete regatta and even sailing novice. During training, the respective positions on the boat are assigned according to experience, and there are certainly positions that you can learn and master in a very short time even without any sailing experience. Many sailors from the cruising sector start regattas with a similar experience level to sailing beginners. We therefore deliberately distribute participants according to their experience level among the participating boats. All you need to bring is a desire for sporty sailing and the ambition to give your all with your team in training & races.

There will also be time to take it a bit easier in between. The only thing the Sail & Race Academy does not offer is harbour manoeuvres training under engine.

On identical Dehler 38 Performance yachts — fair, sporty, and challenging. All boats are equipped with sporty mainsails & headsails as well as gennakers for broad reach and downwind courses.

Teams can stay overnight on their boats. If there are more people than berths on the boats, additional people will be accommodated ashore.

7 days of regatta and training, boat and berth, professional regatta trainers, regatta management & arbitration, support and safety boats, daily breakfast, closing party, as well as complete organization and coordination of the schedule.

Safety first. In case of waiting times, we have prepared an exciting alternative program. The regatta management & arbitration will decide on site.

€6,700 for the entire boat, or a single spot from €960 with a minimum of 7 people on the boat. Plus €95 base fee including deposit insurance per person.

Check-in on Oct 10: Boarding from 2:00 PM, welcome at 3:00 PM.

Check-out on Oct 17: Vacate the boat by 9:00 AM. The official part ends on Friday evening.

A private double cabin is available for a 50% surcharge. Accommodation in an apartment in Punat or a hotel within walking distance of the marina is also possible upon request and subject to availability.

7 is the optimal regatta crew size: The 7th person gets a cabin on a sleeping vessel at the same pier.

We offer discounted lunches in Punat and at the marina restaurant. However, you can also organize yourselves and/or cook on the boat.
