Twin rudder training – harbour manoeuvres under control.
Video transcript

Translation of the original transcript (Deutsch).

A yacht with twin rudders gives you full control, of course. Above all under sail. In harbour manoeuvres, though, or when entering a marina, twin rudders can often be trickier than a single rudder. With us you get the key tips and tricks for handling a yacht with twin rudders. In 3.5 days – in crews of no more than four in personal training, or six in the regular course – you learn how to come alongside properly with twin rudders, how to back into the marina and how to berth safely in a box. Some manoeuvres work very well with twin rudders compared with a single rudder, others rather less so. How to adapt those manoeuvres and use them to your advantage is what you learn here with us in the twin rudder training. Have a look at the available dates on our website, send us a message or
