It is for women only and led by women, to create a safe and relaxed atmosphere in which you learn best how to come alongside and leave safely. Boat handling, crew management and decision-making. In short, everything you need to step aboard and say with full confidence: “I am steering this boat!” We offer you 3.5 days with a German-speaking female instructor. CONTENT
Sailing is teamwork, responsibility and adventure all at once – and sometimes you need a safe space to strengthen your role as skipper. The “Ladies Only” skipper training offers exactly that. In a relaxed, supportive atmosphere, you’ll learn to make confident decisions, lead the crew, and handle challenging situations on board with calm.
Training covers docking and undocking, harbour and sailing manoeuvres, crew leadership, decision-making and stress management. We combine hands-on practice with focused coaching to build your confidence and safety.
Ideal for women who want to develop their skipper skills, skippers who want to strengthen their role and gain more confidence, or simply sailors who want to learn practice and theory in a relaxed environment

It’s an exclusive sailing training specifically for women that helps you build confidence when taking charge of a yacht. Everything takes place in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where you can learn at your own pace.
It’s for women who want to develop their skipper skills, experienced female skippers who want to strengthen their role, and sailors who want to learn practical content in a pleasant environment. Whatever your level, you’re in the right place.
No, prior experience isn’t required. Beginners can also take part and will be gently introduced to all manoeuvres.
The training lasts 3 days and takes place in a small group of up to 6 people; in personal training, up to 4 people. This means you’ll often be on the helm yourself and receive plenty of individual support.
You’ll practise docking and undocking, harbour and sailing manoeuvres, as well as crew leadership, decision-making and stress management. This way you gain not only seamanship skills, but also confidence in the leadership role.
Included are support from a German-speaking, insured female instructor, access to Skipper 360° – the learning suite (passage guide with over 50 videos and ultimate logbook in the full version, each for one year), overnight stay on the boat, and discounts for future yacht charters.
The base is Marina Punat on the island of Krk in Croatia, a beautiful and varied sailing area. We run the sailing school together with Blue-2.at.
In addition to the training fee, there is a base fee that covers tourist tax, diesel and cleaning; you can find current prices on the course page or on request.
No, you don’t need a license to participate in the training. We pick you up exactly at your level.
Yes, our instructors are German-speaking and accompany you throughout the entire training.
Training times depend on your start day. For a Saturday start: Sat 2 PM – 5 PM, Sun 9 AM – 5 PM, Mon 9 AM – 5 PM, Tue 9 AM – 12 PM. For a Tuesday start: Tue 5 PM – 6:30 PM, Wed 9 AM – 5 PM, Thu 9 AM – 5 PM, Fri 9 AM – 5 PM.
You stay overnight on board the boat – the overnight stay is included in the training.
You can park directly in Marina Punat or at the marina’s gravel car park. Parking with a motorhome is allowed in the marina, but staying overnight in the motorhome is not. You can find out the current parking fees directly at the marina.
