What are the exact training times?

Courses run from Saturday 2 PM to Tuesday 1 PM or from Tuesday 5 PM to Friday 5:30 PM (overnight stay on the boat until Saturday). Each training day begins at 9:15 AM and usually ends around 5 PM – 5:30 PM. There is a short break at noon for a snack.

Are there hotel recommendations and special conditions with partner hotels?

We can help you in cooperation with hotels and apartments.
We recommend one of our cozy apartments right in the center of Punat. At Hotel Kanajt, there is a 10% discount for in2theblue skipper training, and apartments with 2 extra rooms are available from €65 / night.

Can I book a single cabin?

We naturally want to fulfill this wish for you, but we can only offer this depending on availability. Feel free to talk to us about it and we will check what we can do for you.

What do I need to consider specifically when entering Croatia?

Nothing, Croatia is part of the EU as well as the Schengen Area and, since 2024, also part of the Eurozone.

Do I need to bring my own bed linen, sleeping bag, and towels?

Bed linen is provided, a sleeping bag is an advantage for the spring and autumn months, towels are NOT provided, so please bring them with you.

Do I need oilskins & sailing boots?

For safety reasons, suitable shoes depending on the season, preferably with light-colored soles, are required. Please bring these yourself. You can rent oilskins from us for a fee.

Carpooling

Of course, carpooling is possible. Due to data protection guidelines, we are not allowed to disclose participant data, but we are happy to ask the others and then put you in touch. When booking, you can register for our Car Sharing Forum.

Parking in Punat

The car can generally be parked in the marina, but we suggest the paid parking lot at Hotel Kanajt to our customers; it is cheaper than in the marina but the same walking distance. Outside the marina, there are very few free parking options.

Food & Drink

We offer the best breakfast in Punat at our IN2THEBAR. At noon, you can order a packed lunch. For dinner, it has become customary for us all to go out to eat together in the evening. The meal for the skipper is NOT to be paid for by the crew.
