After your FB2 licence comes… logically, the FB3. For the FB3, to be allowed to sail a range of 200 nautical miles, all you need is proof of sea miles and a theory exam. The proof of sea miles you get with us. The ideal theory preparation plus the exam you get from our closest partner: Blue-2. At www.blue-2.at you will find everything you need for your sailing theory training.
Course INFORMATION
Sail training from anywhere – take your theory course online or as an in-person course.
With Blue-2’s interactive learning materials, you can learn conveniently from home – giving you the freedom to adapt your course to your needs. This way, you’ll be optimally prepared to make the most of the practical sessions on-site.
Our online theory courses are held live, and with a maximum of 15 participants, there’s plenty of time for practice and revision.
The material is explained step by step, and with the help of our virtual learning materials, you can learn everything from home. Chart examples are presented and reviewed together. Each session covers topics such as weather, tides, safety, or engines, which are discussed together.
Chart work is demonstrated directly on a chart on screen and explained, and course participants then plot the given task on their own chart. Afterwards, the results are analyzed together on screen. A nautical chart with materials will be sent to you by post. You’ll also receive access to our learning platform www.skipper360.at for the duration of the course, where we’ve made chart work available as an online course.
