In the mood for competitive regatta sailing here in Punat. Together with the yacht club we organise many small and large events every year, where everyone from the regatta beginner to the pro gets their money's worth. And of course it is not only about the fun, the sport and the competition on the water, but also about being together and getting to know the sailing community here in Punat. Depending on the event you can sail one of our one-design classes, you can come with your own boat, or charter one from us for the races that are open. Infrastructure – we really do have everything on site. There are apartments, and you can sleep on board. We have a bar where you can talk through one race or another well into the night. At the bigger events there are really great evening functions too. We are happy to provide you with a regatta skipper if you are not yet quite confident. And of course you can do some training beforehand. From my own personal experience – and talk to anyone, they will all tell you the same. It is simply incredible, that feeling and that tension out on the water. Just check our dates and come and join in.

Sail with us through the picturesque waters south of Krk. Due to the island’s geographical location and the surrounding sea conditions, we have optimal wind and weather conditions – especially in spring and autumn. Punat stands out not only for its sailing-friendly conditions but, above all, for its location. Whether by car, boat, or plane – our base is easily accessible.
Once you arrive in Punat, you’ll find not only the fully equipped marina where our fleet is located, but also a place for all sailing enthusiasts. Our competition pier and race office are located right in the center of Punat, just a few minutes’ walk from the marina. Here you will find the starting point for your regatta adventure.

Alpe Adria Sailing Week
The Austria Cup, a firm fixture in Austrian sailing tradition, will take place for the 19th time in May 2026. Organized by the Yacht Club Punat in cooperation with the Yacht Club Austria and the Croatian Sailing Federation, it offers exciting classes such as the “Alpe Adria Cup” and the “34th AUSTRIA CUP”. With up to 10 planned races, the regatta is part of the Austrian Offshore Trophy 2026. Be there and experience intense competition in a unique sailing environment.

This regatta event series starts in Punat in 2026.
All students from Europe who love the freedom on the waves, from beginners to professionals, can register. Sailing takes place in small teams on J70 boats in front of Punat Bay. The regatta consists of several different races & flights.
S-CUP
For 40 years, the Nautic Club Austria (NCA), in cooperation with the Styrian Sailing Association, has organized the S-Cup, Austria’s oldest offshore regatta. First held in Punat in 2023, we are proud to support this event again in 2026. Be there when sailing history is made in Punat!
CROATIA CUP
Traditionally, the Alpe Adria Sailing Week takes place in Punat at the end of May. This is also where the Croatia Cup regatta is held. The host and organizer is JK Punat. Crews from Croatia and Austria set sail and start on the regatta course. The course leads to the island of Galuna off Stara Baška, followed by a turn and the return to Punat.
