EUROSAF Sailing Champions League 2027

The EUROSAF Sailing Champions League 2027 takes place in Punat and offers exciting races in the Umpired Fleet Racing format.

With at least 5 J/70s and 15 teams, a racing series will be sailed over three days. Training sessions before the event can be organized.

The daily Après Sea party takes place at IN2THEBAR – located right between the accommodations in the center of Punat and the J/70 berths.

The Event

The J/70 regattas in Punat, Croatia are legendary: steady winds, flat water, and perfect conditions for intense league sailing. The EUROSAF Sailing Champions League 2027 brings Europe’s league sailors to Punat for three days of Umpired Fleet Racing – short, intense races with a jury on the water and boat rotation, so that in the end, only sailing skill counts.

On April 01 (Thursday evening), 1-hour training slots per team are included.

The Boats

We sail the J/70 – the standard boat of the European sailing leagues. Identical, perfectly maintained boats and rotation between races ensure fair conditions and a true comparison of sailing skills.

Schedule

April 02 – 04 | Umpired Fleet Racing
A series of short races over three days with a jury on the water and boat rotation. Daily briefing in the morning, debriefing after the races.

March 31 & April 01 | Optional Training
Training sessions before the championship can be organized on request – ideal for getting the crew in sync on the J/70.

Accommodation & Après Sea

Punat is a vibrant place for sailing enthusiasts. Various accommodations are available right in the town center, just a few minutes’ walk from the marina. The daily Après Sea party takes place at IN2THEBAR, right between the accommodations in the center of Punat and the J/70 berths – followed by the award ceremony on the final day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Racing experience on J/70s or comparable boats is recommended. The event is aimed at active league sailors from European sailing leagues and national associations.

Maximum 5 people per team. Individual entries will be assigned to existing teams or we will put crews together.

J/70 charter with boat rotation, race management and jury, boatman, robomarks and RIBs, as well as the daily breakfast buffet at IN2THEBAR.

Travel to and from Punat, accommodation, and meals on land are not included. Various accommodations are available in the town center, a few minutes from the marina.
