EUROSAF Sailing Champions League 2026

The EUROSAF Sailing Champions League 2026 will be held in Punat and offers exciting sail racing in umpired fleet racing format.

With a minimum of 5 J/70 boats and 15 participants, this event features a series of races over three days. Training sessions ahead of the event can be organised.

The daily Après Sea party takes place at IN2THEBAR, directly between the accommodation in downtown Punat and the J/70 moorings.

The Event

The J/70 regattas in Punat, Croatia are legendary: steady wind, flat water and perfect conditions for intense league sailing. The EUROSAF Sailing Champions League 2026 brings Europe’s league sailors together in Punat for three days of umpired fleet racing – short, sharp races with an on-the-water jury and boat rotation, so every result comes down to sailing skill alone.

The Boats

We sail J/70 yachts – the standard boat of the European sailing leagues. Identical, well-maintained boats and a rotation between races make for fair conditions and a true comparison of sailing skill.

Schedule

27 – 29 November | Umpired fleet racing
A series of short races over three days with an on-the-water jury and boat rotation. Daily briefing in the morning, debriefing after racing.

Before the event | Optional training
Training sessions ahead of the championship can be organised on request – ideal to get your crew dialled in on the J/70.

Accommodation & Après Sea

Punat is a lively place for sailing enthusiasts. Various accommodations are available right in the town centre, just a few minutes’ walk from the marina. The daily Après Sea party takes place at IN2THEBAR, directly between the accommodation in downtown Punat and the J/70 moorings – followed by the prize-giving on the final day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Racing experience on J/70 or comparable boats is recommended. The event is aimed at active league sailors from the European sailing leagues and national federations.

Maximum 5 people per team. Individual entrants are placed on existing teams or we put crews together.

J/70 charter with boat rotation, race management and jury, boatsman, robomarks and RIBs, plus the daily breakfast buffet at IN2THEBAR.

Travel to and from Punat, accommodation and meals ashore are not included. Various accommodation options are available in the town centre, a few minutes from the marina.
