The Race
The International Aegean Rally, organized by the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club, is one of the most renowned sailing regattas in the Eastern Mediterranean. For more than 60 years, participants from all over the world have brought their yachts to Greek waters – for a unique experience of sporting competition, culture, and Greek hospitality. The 64th edition of the race leads from Athens through 4 legs across the Aegean – past Syros and Leros. A total of approximately 400 nautical miles are sailed, with rest days in between featuring parties, guided tours, and local events.

The sailing area
The Aegean offers one of the most versatile sailing areas in the Mediterranean – with constant Meltemi winds in summer, clear turquoise waters, and spectacular islands. The route leads from Athens south to Syros, then on to Leros in the Dodecanese, and back.

Accommodation
You can stay overnight on the yacht on all event days. Overnight stays during rest days in Syros and Leros are not included in the package price. We recommend hotels in Ermoupolis (Syros) or Lakki or Agia Marina (Leros) – and are happy to assist you in finding suitable accommodation.

FAQ
Basic offshore sailing experience is recommended. Experience on a similar yacht (performance racer/cruiser 40–44ft) is an advantage. Our professional skipper will take the lead and handle navigation and safety.
The single berth price (€1,750) includes: charter yacht incl. insurance, professional skipper, all race entry fees, travel to/from the yacht, onboard catering during the legs, EPIRB / safety equipment. Not included: travel to/from Athens, accommodation on rest days, personal expenses.

For the Aegean Rally 2026, three yachts are available: Trinity+, Aqua Nomis (both XP44 class) and a First 44 – all perfectly suited for offshore regattas in the Aegean. Allocation is based on booking order.
Yes! A combination with our delivery legs is possible. This way, you can experience part or the entire journey from the Adriatic to the start of the race. Contact us for a customized offer.
