The ISZ Cup 2027 is moving to Punat on the island of Krk. From September 18 to 22, 2027, one of Austria’s biggest corporate regattas will take place at our home base, with around 80 yachts and several hundred participants – and IN2THEBLUE will take on a central role in planning and delivery.

A major project for IN2THEBLUE
For many years, the ISZ Cup has been one of the most exceptional sailing events in Austrian business – an impressive regatta and, at the same time, a major industry get-together on the water. After the editions in Pula, the ISZ Cup 2027 opens a new chapter: Punat becomes the new home port.
For us, this is far more than just another date in the calendar. Having an event of this size take place at our location – and being trusted with a central role – is a special honor for our entire team. We’re proud of that.
The people behind the move
On the IN2THEBLUE side, the project was led by Max Miller and Julian Kircher. In many discussions and planning sessions, we worked together with the Frauenthal Group and partners in Punat on the requirements for the move. On the Frauenthal Group side, Peter Schenk and Verena Obeder were especially involved.
One key partner stays on board: The NCA under the leadership of Robert Muhr will continue to handle the sailing management and on-water delivery of the regatta. From the very beginning, the goal wasn’t simply to relocate an event, but to create a special overall experience from the regatta, supporting program, marina and the town of Punat.

A special thank-you goes to the Punat Tourist Board and its director Branko Karabaić. The support, openness and willingness to develop solutions together were hugely important for this project.
We’d also like to thank Marina Punat. With a fleet this large, berths, logistics and infrastructure are crucial. The constructive collaboration was a key building block for the move. Together with the NCA, this creates a strong interplay between regatta organization, the marina, tourism and local partners – and that’s exactly what makes Punat a sailing destination.
Around 80 yachts right in the heart of Punat
You won’t miss the scale of the ISZ Cup in September 2027: around 80 yachts and several hundred participants will shape the scene in and around the marina for a full week. While the NCA is responsible for the sailing delivery, IN2THEBLUE and its partners focus on on-site coordination and the overall experience.
Punat offers ideal conditions for this: a superbly developed marina, short distances between boats, the event tent and program points, and a town where an event of this size is truly felt. We want to show that Punat is not only an ideal starting point for a sailing holiday and training, but can also host major regattas and corporate events at the highest level.
