Old friends, familiar crews, and new faces
For us, the Boot Tulln boat show is a big reunion every year. We meet former sailing students, charter crews, regatta teams, and many people who have been sailing with us for years. A quick “hello” quickly turns into half an hour full of stories about the last trip – and plans for the next.
We are just as excited to meet new faces: everyone who has long dreamed of learning to sail, who wants to get their first sailing certificate – and experienced sailors who say: “I can already sail, but now I want to sail more ambitiously.”
From the first sailing certificate to RYA Yachtmaster
If you want to get a sailing certificate, you have many options: German certificate, Austrian certificate, or an international English-language training? At IN2THEBLUE, we offer German, Austrian, and English sail training – such as the FB2 or the SKS – and together we find the path that suits your goals.
As an RYA Training Centre in Croatia, we also offer English-language training according to the British Royal Yachting Association system – from entry into independent skippering to preparation for the RYA Yachtmaster.
It’s not just about the certificate. Harbour manoeuvres, catamaran training, sailing manoeuvres, gennaker, night sailing, or long-distance cruising: our sailing school in Croatia focuses on practical experience. Ultimately, you should feel confident on board and truly master your boat.
Harbour manoeuvres right in the exhibition hall
A special highlight awaits you together with Michael Menard from BLUE-2. In Tulln, Michael will demonstrate new ways to teach sailing theory more interactively and practically – above all, with a virtual skipper trainer.
In front of you, a steering wheel and throttle, on the screen your boat – and then it’s time to cast off. The simulator recreates boat manoeuvres almost realistically. What happens if I put the rudder over? How does the boat react to forward or reverse throttle? Instead of just looking at a harbour manoeuvre on a drawing, you try it out yourself. This fits our way of teaching sailing: Understand. Try it out. Do it yourself. You can find more about this in our virtual training courses.
Regatta training: sail faster instead of a new certificate
Perhaps you’ve been sailing for a long time and simply want to sail faster. That’s why our regatta training and camps and our regatta events in Punat are an important part of our exhibition presence.
You don’t have to be a professional for this. We also support everyone who wants to experience for the first time what happens at a starting line and how much speed the right sail trim brings. Those with experience can specifically work on tactics, boat speed, gennaker handling, and crew work.
Yacht charter in Croatia and your next trip
With our yacht charter in Croatia, we offer a large selection of yachts at our bases Marina Punat on Krk and Marina Kremik near Split. Whether it’s a family holiday, a sporty sailing trip, a catamaran, or a week with your own crew – at the fair, we’ll find the right boat together.
