Train the Trainer: a common thread for all courses
We kicked off with our internal “Train the Trainer”. Numerous trainers came together to prepare for the new season. All manoeuvres were discussed and standardised, procedures sharpened, and the common thread of IN2THEBLUE firmly established.
The goal: our training runs to the same high standards regardless of the individual trainer. Anyone doing skipper training or a sailing certificate with us should experience the same quality on board everywhere.

The first training weeks of the 2026 season
At the same time, the first intensive training weeks got underway. Completed as early as March were, among others:
- the regatta training of Yacht Club Austria (YCA)
- the mono training
- the FB2 exam week
- various practice trips and KAT training
- the RYA Cruising Instructor Course
Early April: up to 20 yachts at once
By early April, training operations really picked up speed: at times, up to 20 boats were out at once in the training and instruction area. For our team, that meant an intensive start – with numerous trainers, participants, and courses and trips running in parallel.
The high number of boats and training groups shows how diverse our training offering has now become: from Austrian and German sailing certificates to RYA training and regatta training. The 2026 season was thus already in full swing by spring.
