Course location: Punat Our courses take place at Marina Punat on the island of Krk.
For Saturday training we meet at 2:00 PM, and for Tuesday training at 5:00 PM, on the terrace of Hotel Kanajt or in front of the pool bar (depending on the weather). The welcome starts exactly at the stated time. Our instructors will then line up and we’ll begin with the boat and instructor allocation. If you’re running late, please call: +43 676 49 48 660. The Trainer of the Week will take care of your request.

Base fee: The base fee is €60/person in CASH for all skipper training and sailing manoeuvres training. (Diesel, tourist tax, final cleaning)

Parking: Parking is available at the lowest car park (gravel) in front of Hotel Kanajt. Please use this affordable car park; it is only 200 m from our jetty. For loading and unloading, the marina car park is free for 1 hour.

Apartment: If you’re interested in an apartment during the training because you don’t want to sleep on the boat, or if family members are coming along, please contact us early. Below you’ll find a link to our newly renovated apartments right in the heart of Punat.


What do you need to bring?
  • Warm clothing (in March, April, May or November it can get cold at sea)
  • Boots (in the cold and wet season – unfortunately cannot be borrowed from us)
  • Bed linen provided (possibly a sleeping bag for the cold season)
  • Please bring your own towels
  • Passport, ID card
  • Sailing gloves
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen!
  • If you have a life jacket, please bring it; otherwise you’ll get one from us. (Automatic life jackets are available)
  • If you don’t have foul-weather gear, you can also rent foul-weather gear from us for €30 per training session. Please let us know in advance by email at office@in2theblue.com (size and quantity).


We ask you to take the training seriously and limit alcohol consumption accordingly.
