The Event
The J/70 regattas in Punat, Croatia are legendary. Especially in spring, Punat proves to be an ideal sailing area – with consistent wind, flat water, and perfect conditions for intensive league sailing. The J/70 Spring Event 2027 brings together league sailors from Switzerland, Germany, and Austria for two consecutive events: a Performance Camp and a Coach Regatta in an umpired fleet racing format.

Who is the event suitable for?
- League sailors from the Swiss Sailing League, Austrian Sailing League, and German leagues
- Individual participants and complete crews (max. 5 people per team)
- Experienced J/70 crew with regatta experience
The Boats
Sailing will be on J/70 yachts – the standard boat of the European sailing leagues. Identically constructed, well-maintained boats ensure fair conditions and a true comparison of sailing performance.
Schedule
March 15–17 | Performance Camp
Three intensive training days with professional coaching. Focus on manoeuvres, tactics, regatta starts, and teamwork. Ideal for preparing for the league season.
March 18–20 | Coach Regatta
Umpired fleet racing in league format with on-site arbitration. Coaching during the races and daily debriefing.
Accommodation & Social Program
Even in spring, Punat is a lively place for sailing enthusiasts. Various accommodations are available directly in the center, just a few minutes’ walk from the marina. Joint evenings, award ceremonies, and the typical regatta atmosphere round off the event.

Frequently Asked Questions
Regatta experience on J/70 or comparable boats is recommended. The event is aimed at active league sailors from the Swiss Sailing League, Austrian Sailing League, and German leagues.
Maximum 5 people per team. Individual participants will be assigned to existing teams or crews will be formed.
Yes, both events can be booked individually. The combi package (Camp + Regatta) offers the best price at €3,500 for the entire team.
Travel, accommodation, and meals on land are not included. Various options for accommodation in Punat are available directly at the marina.
