This online theory course is delivered in English and can be completed flexibly at your own pace. You get access to the interactive learning platform, official RYA training material and the online theory exam. The booking is handled through our partner Seefunkschule Adlmanninger / Navathome. The course listing states approx. 40–50 hours learning time, 6 months platform access, online exam, official RYA student pack and a course price of € 345,-.

Course information
The RYA Day Skipper Theory course is designed for aspiring skippers and crew who want to build confidence in planning and navigating short coastal passages by day. It is the perfect theoretical preparation before joining the RYA Day Skipper Practical course at IN2THEBLUE.
You will learn how to read and use charts, plan passages, understand tides, interpret weather information and apply the international rules for preventing collisions at sea.
Certificate issuing criteria
Able to skipper a small yacht in familiar waters by day.
