Short Range Certificate
We offer courses throughout Austria and in Punat for the Royal Yachting Association’s SRC (GMDSS) certificate in cooperation with Seefunkschule Adlmanninger.
This radio license is a prerequisite for obtaining various sailing qualifications and for chartering recreational boats in countries such as Croatia.

Your maritime radio training with our partner, Seefunkschule Adlmanninger offers a streamlined approach, no unnecessary theory, hands-on practice using modern VHF radios like those found on yachts and you’ll receive your certificate immediately after the course.
You can attend the course in person or online, followed by an in-person exam at five locations across Austria or Croatia.
Each course includes an RYA VHF handbook, either delivered by mail or provided as an eBook.
In-Person Courses & Exam
We offer two different in-person course formats followed immediately by an exam. Each course, including the exam, can be completed in just one or two days, after which you’ll receive your certificate issued by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA).

Vienna, Graz, Linz, Bludenz, Kufstein, Punat (Croatia)
The minimum age to participate in the SRC radio course is 16 years.

ONLINE COURSE & EXAM
Alternatively, you can register for our interactive online course, study comfortably from home, and then take the in-person exam on one of the scheduled exam dates.
Once you’ve completed the entire online course and successfully passed the pre-exam, you can sign up for the final exam.

The minimum age to sit the SRC radio exam is 16 years.
