„The best sailors are not the ones who know the most. They are the ones who make the best decisions under pressure.“

Coaching with
Sanni Beucke.

Sanni’s path to an Olympic medal and the world’s elite was shaped by moments in which she left her comfort zone & believed in herself in a sport dominated by men. As a coach she shares with you not only her experience in technique and tactics, but also helps you strengthen your trust in your own abilities.
Together with a second professional racing coach, Sanni works with you directly on board – on technique, tactics and teamwork. Personal, goal-oriented and full of passion.

Frequently Asked Questions

For women with a passion for sailing – as a crew or as individual entrants, beginners and advanced sailors alike. Minimum crew: 6 women per boat, ideally 7-8 people.

You have an experienced regatta skipper as your coach on board, and you can join the Race Camp even as a complete regatta newcomer – or even as a sailing newcomer. In training, the positions on board are assigned according to experience, and there are plenty of positions you can learn and master in a very short time without any sailing experience at all. Many sailors with a cruising background start racing with a similar level of experience to beginners. That is why we deliberately spread participants across the boats according to their experience level, too. All you need to bring is an appetite for sporty sailing and the ambition to give everything with your team in training & racing.

There will also be time to cruise a little more leisurely in between. The only thing the Sail & Race Academy does not offer is training harbour manoeuvres under engine.

Identical Dehler 38 performance yachts – fair, sporty and demanding. All boats are equipped with sporty mainsails & headsails plus a gennaker for reaching and downwind courses.

Teams can sleep on board their boats. If there are more participants than berths available on the boats, the additional participants will be accommodated ashore.

Safety first. If we have to wait, we’ve prepared an exciting alternative programme. The race committee & jury decide on site.
