We meet former sailing students, charter crews, regatta teams, and many people who have been sailing with us for years. In Tulln, Michael will demonstrate new ways to teach sailing theory more interactively and practically \u2013 above all, with a <strong>virtual skipper trainer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In front of you, a steering wheel and throttle, on the screen your boat \u2013 and then it&#8217;s time to cast off. The simulator recreates boat manoeuvres almost realistically. What happens if I put the rudder over? How does the boat react to forward or reverse throttle? Instead of just looking at a harbour manoeuvre on a drawing, you try it out yourself. This fits our way of teaching sailing: <strong>Understand. Try it out.
