You will deepen your knowledge of maritime law, seamanship, and meteorology. Navigation is expanded to include wind and current allowances. The topics of tidal knowledge and the basics of sailing are newly added.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SKS is a recommended official but voluntary certificate that applies to the private and commercial operation of pleasure craft in coastal waters up to 12 NM seaward from the baseline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Study time outside the course approx. 50\u2013100 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirement: <\/strong><br\/>\u2022 16 years old &amp;
